Pinch Hitter Requests

Instructions for Filling PHer Requests

Pinch hitters work hard to help us with our exchange, and this event wouldn't be possible without them. As such, we ask pinch hitters who are interested in receiving treats to post below outlining what they'd like to receive, and ask participants to consider treating them!

Pinch hitter treats should follow all FIAB assignment/treat requirements. Post using the instructions under "Posting Anything Without An AO3 Assignment" on the Posting Guidelines.

Requirements for requesting:

• You have picked up a pinch hit, including receiving a swapsignment without signing up.
• You are not signed up to the exchange under any username.
• You would like the chance to get treats!

If the above all fit you, then this is where you make requests as a pinch hitter so that treaters can see them!

Guidelines:

You should post your requests as a reply to this post. If you want to split your fandom requests into separate comments, please reply to yourself after your first post.

Since the mods will be checking works to confirm they fill requests, there are some guidelines to help us out!

• Each request should include the following:

Details: (DNWs should be labeled clearly as "DNW" or "Do Not Want".)

• Medium and Length Opt-Ins must be in the tagset and must be requested using the exact wording of the tag.
• Please don't remove or significantly change the tag part of requests after you post them, unless adding additional requests/tags.
• If linking to more than one letter (or any other link that contains multiple subposts/links), you must still list any requested fandoms/tags in your comment to this post so that mods can easily verify gifts fill your request. This doesn't apply to the auto-app as long as it's clear and easy to verify what you're requesting.

BROADLY i prefer happy works to sad works. i am also a big fan of the dramatic irony of knowing it gets tragic later but what you’re showing me is the good times of before. emotional hurt/comfort is what i usually write, i would enjoy getting it too. secret identity shenanigans are fun. canon compliance, canon divergence, canon-lightly-breathed-on-it... i like fantasy aus more than scifi aus on the whole but don’t let that stop you. if you’ve always thought [x tag] would work soooo well in [y piece of existing media] then i’d love to see the fusion universe it creates! “in vino veritas” trope. pining and yearning, although i would like it to pay off requited most of the time. sometimes you have to have already died/otherwise hit rock bottom to realise your true feelings. characters who WERE in a bad situation who are NOW in a good situation and don’t really know how to handle that. transed genders with or without explanation. neopronouns to shake up a room that has three he/hims in it. fake dating. aromanticism. plurality. autism. pov character's extremely stressed-out queer awakening, played out in front of support character who is being way too chill about this (predicted it years ago and is queer themself).
