Details:
I'm excited to see that someone nominated this rare pair! I love Kay and Blackquill as single characters, and I've always thought that they should meet! :D They're about the same age (2-3 years apart), so I think it'd be fun. So this is my request: please make them meet! I'm not really picky about their first impression of each other: they could get along, fight, hate each other, have drunk sex… Honestly, I'd love to see your interpretation!
I'm open to them becoming friends, lovers or something ambiguous in between. I'm also interested in them doing canon typical things together like investigating a case, as long as you keep the focus on their developing friendship/relationship.

I love works that take place during or after Dual Destinies/Spirit of Justice, and I'm very curious about Kay as an adult. I'm also interested in works where Kay and Simon meet as teenagers, and then they meet again 10 years later (or after a similar timeskip). Do they remember each other? What do they think now?
Note: while I am mostly a fan of canon compliant works (and if you can make your work fit in canon like a missing scene I will love it), for this request I'm also fine with something that is more vague about the canon timeline, if it works better for you. This is especially true for social media, Reddit posts and chatrooms.

Edgeworth is the most obvious connection between Kay and Simon, and I love his friendship/mentorship with them, so I am totally fine with a work that includes him as a main character as well! Feel free to include other characters close to them too, like Athena, Aura, Gumshoe, etc. And of course, Taka is the best boy and he should interact with Kay (but what if she thinks only the Yatagarasu is the best bird? :D)

I'm not very interested in smut-focused works for this ship, but I do love fade-to-black, sexual tension and anything where the characters feel sexually attracted to each other! Don't worry too much about where to draw the line, this is mostly a suggestion. Making out is totally fine!

If mentioning the characters' sexual orientation works for the story, I'm open to Kay and/or Simon being straight, bi or pan.
If you create a work for the platonic Kay & Simon tag, I'm also fine with Blackquill being gay. I like Simon/Diego Armando and Simon/Nahyuta as well, so I'm also interested in a work where Kay gives Simon love advice (just please pick only one of the romantic ships for Simon, not all of them).

Background ships I like: Phoenix/Edgeworth (my OTP, you can never go wrong with mentions of them), Adrian Andrews/Franziska von Karma, Aura Blackquill/Metis Cykes (one-sided or not), Tyrell Badd/Byrne Faraday. I'm also fine with Gumshoe/Maggey if you like it.

I played all the main 6 games and the 2 Investigations spin-off, so don't worry about spoilers from them! AAI2 is one of my favorite games, and I love the characters.

Also, if you feel inspired, I opt-in crossovers and fusions with Tiger & Bunny or Star Trek: The Original Series. I have requested Ace Attorney crossovers with those canons multiple times in past exchanges, usually with Edgeworth or Phoenix/Edgeworth (and I'd still love to see them included), but I would also love Kay and Blackquill in similar scenarios! Feel free to check my Crossover Fandom requests on the app or read my past letters to get ideas.
In Tiger & Bunny my favorite characters are Kotetsu, Barnaby, Yuri and Ryan. I also ship Kotetsu/Barnaby and Ryan/Karina. Blackquill & Yuri's interactions would be especially interesting!
In Star Trek TOS I'm mostly interested in Ace Attorney characters meeting the Enterprise crew, especially Kirk and Spock. Would Kay press all the buttons on the bridge? Would Blackquill and Sulu have a sword fight? Kirk/Spock is my OTP in that fandom, but I'm fine with them being platonic too.

DNW:
- Mention of recent real conflicts and politics/political statements, mention of real people from the 20th/21th centuries (unless canon).
- Unhappy endings.
- Permanent breakups between my ships (unless one of them canonically dies).
- Non-canon permanent character death (assumed character death is good; OCs dying in murder cases or missions are fine too).
- Unrequested AUs (like genderbending, coffee shop, etc), unrequested crossovers.
- Non-canon permanent injuries, like losing an arm or permanent brain damage, or serious illnesses like cancer or Alzheimer's (scars in places that aren't their faces are okay).
- Poly, asexual, aromantic and trans interpretations for the characters in my romantic ships. Miles Edgeworth attracted to women.
- The narrative or the characters explicitly referring to Edgeworth & Kay or Edgeworth & Blackquill as a parent-child relationship (like Edgeworth thinking of Kay as his daughter, etc.)
- Infidelity/cheating between my romantic ships.
- Unrequested non-canon relationships (exception: relationships between OCs are fine, as well as OCs having unrequited feelings for existing characters).
- Non-con.
- PWP.
- Breathplay, knifeplay, bloodplay, scat, watersports, sounding.
- Making explicit that romantic relationships between Phoenix/Edgeworth, Kotetsu/Barnaby or Kirk/Spock could never happen (for example making them explicitly straight, claiming that their friendship is 100% platonic, etc). Gen is totally fine, but please don't sink my ships.
- The Great Ace Attorney spoilers/characters.
- Tiger & Bunny DNW: Kotetsu wearing two wedding/engagement rings at the same time (I'd prefer no mention of his ring in fic.)
- Star Trek DNW: Clones. | Abortion and miscarriage. | The word "rape" to refer to forced mind-melds (anything else implying violence or a non-consensual action is fine).

I requested this ship in every exchange I did this year where it was eligible, so if you pick any prompt from my previous requests, you can't go wrong!
The main thing you need to know is that I have a preference for TOS movies era for them, especially "getting together" works post-The Motion Picture and established relationship during/after any other movie. The exceptions for this preference are time/dimension travel where they meet their counterparts from a different universe, fusions/crossovers and social media/Reddit posts. In those cases, any era is fine!

I write Kirk/Spock a lot, so I'd be delighted to get art or comics inspired to any of my fics on AO3! Also, if you wrote a fic for me in the past and you have an idea for a sequel, that's welcome too!

Smut/E-rated works are welcome in any requested media!

For art/comics, I love TMP uniforms as much as the uniforms they wear in the other movies. I'd also be delighted to get art with the (bad) uniforms they wear in The Final Frontier when they're in the brig. :D

I usually prefer works that are canon compliant/missing scenes. My canon divergence exceptions are The Final Frontier, where I welcome anything where they can interact more with Sybok (fix-it where he doesn't die included), and Generations fix-its. In this request I am also interested in works where Kirk/Spock meet their counterparts from the Mirrorverse (especially in TOS movies era), AOS or the past/future in the original universe (for example, TOS Kirk/Spock during the five-year mission meeting their TOS middle-aged version). I could read dozens of versions of "Kirk and Spock are not together in this universe/time, but they get together after meeting their happily married counterparts"; in these scenarios I'm fine with the meeting creating a canon divergence from the original story.
Also, I just wanted to say that in TOS x AOS crossovers I love when they mention that AOS Spock/Uhura are (or were) a couple just to see TOS characters' shocked reaction. :D Other than that, I'd prefer if AOS Spock/Uhura eventually break up.

Crossovers/fusions with Ace Attorney are welcome! You can check my "Crossover Fandom" requests on the app or read my previous letters for more prompts; this is another thing I request a lot. I am especially interested in them meeting Phoenix, Edgeworth, Blackquill and/or Kay. I ship Phoenix/Edgeworth and I'm open to Kay/Blackquill being platonic or romantic.

DNW:

- Poly, asexual, aromantic and trans interpretations for Kirk or Spock.
- My requested characters as the aggressors in non-con scenarios
- Breathplay, knifeplay, bloodplay, scat, watersports, sounding
- Abortion and miscarriage (totally fine with mentions of Miramanee's pregnancy and her death)
- Sarek and Kirk disliking each other in TOS movies era
- Clones of my requested characters (exception: Kirk's clone from TOS episode "What are little girls made of?" is fine)
- The word "rape" used to refer to forced mind-melds (anything else implying violence/non-consensual actions is fine)

Note 1: unfortunately, I haven't watched Discovery, SNW and the TNG episodes where Spock appears. Since I am planning to watch them in the future, I'd prefer no major spoilers from them.
Note 2: not exactly a DNW, but I'd prefer fic that is not "pre-relationship" only, especially in stories longer than 1000 words. I prefer my ship to be or get (eventually) together!
