There are just over 8 days left until the deadline, which means it's about time for initial extensions!

Initial extensions are set for October 17th at 11:59PM EDT. This batch of extensions should be treated pretty casually, because splitting everyone up into two due date groups also helps the mods spread out work approvals. You can request an extension at any point before the deadline.

When you ask for an extension make sure to include:

• Your AO3 name
• The assignment(s) you want an extension on if you have more than one assignment and the request doesn't apply to all of them or if you'd like a different due date for different assignments.
• The extension date you're requesting if not October 17th (We won't be giving out extensions past October 24th at this time).

You can request an extension by:

• Posting on this post (the post is screened)
• Posting on the Screened Mod Contact Post
• Emailing us at ficinaboxmod@gmail.com

Other Reminders

• If you requested less than three fandoms with disctinct lore, remember that after the deadline (October 10th) we'll be asking you to add requests up to that minimum fandom requirement if you need to go out to PH. If you choose not to add fandoms we won't require you to and you'll go to PH as normal, but we also won't delay the collection to guarantee your gift.
• We're likely to get a lot of PHs as we lead into and hit the deadline, so remember that if you want dibs on a PH before it goes to a post you can pre-offer on the Pinch Hit Pre-Offers post!
• If you have picked up a pinch hit and are not signed up, remember that you can put up requests on the Pinch Hitter Requests post! This applies to anyone who recieved an assignment in any way (secret swappers, pinch hitters, pre-offer pinch hitters, ect) who was not already signed up to the exchange, and fills for requests on this post will count towards participants' wordcount minimum.
