Guidelines:

Since the collection is moderated and gifts for pinch hitters will count towards someone's minimum guaranteed gift (e.g. If someone defaults on their assignment and then gifts a PHer the same amount, they will still go to PH as though they hadn't defaulted), there are some guidelines for these requests..

Jaylen Hotdogfingers is my favorite character and you basically can't go wrong if you want to write about her.

I'm a Hades Tigers fan, so I know them the best. But I'm game to read about any team, I just... won't get subtle references to your lore.

I'm fairly neutral on lore. Follow it meticulously or come in with your own interpretations, both are fine. I have one strong non-lore-compliant headcanon of my own (which you don't have to follow if you don't like it): "Never Look Back" is a warning, not a description, and the Hades Tigers are about one bad day from committing necromancy at any given moment (yes, even after they know the consequences), so they try to keep warning each other to Not.

Finally, I am a big fan of the Hades Tigers (the band), so if you want to take inspiration from any of their songs, that would be super cool. :D

Familiarity/feelings about the canon: I've read the original Hometuck and the Epilogues (which I'm neutral about), so I don't know much about Homestuck 2 or any of the games. I'm most fond of the Strilondes, obviously, and Sollux◆Terezi. Just... I'm very here for the stoic and snarky combos, the apocalyptic, the weird time fuckery (especially in Alpha Dave/Rose case). Moirallegiance (for Sollux&Terezi, but maybe also for Rose&Dirk?). Doom and avoiding it.

Familiarity/feelings about the canon: I've played through everything in this game (Zubmariner included). I also know the basics of Sunless Skies and Fallen London, if you want to include details from these.

I love Aestival, Uttermost East and the Immortality quest, but I'm also very fond of the moments when the Captain can rest a bit: coming home to London, the friendliness of the Mangrove College. I love the sense of love being something precious and rare in the dark.

Familiarity/feelings about the canon: I've listened every episode several times, and I love everything in this show. The atmosphere, the characters, the relationships between characters... everything.

I have a thing for stoic characters who hide their feelings, so... I'm very fond of Jacobi, his tendency to be blunt-not-honest and the emotions that are lurking behind the surface. The moments when he opens up (in a terrible destructive way, or in a kinder way) are very good. The same goes for Lovelace: she starts as 120% on guard and when she lets someone else in it really gets me in the feelings. And their closest relationships just fascinate me: the sort-of-codependent sort-of hierarchy of the SI-5, Lovelace and Minkowski's push-and-pull.

I'd also really like to see Jacobi and Lovelace together: they're so similar, but there are also large unbridgeable differences (or can they be bridged?).
