Nominations Clarification 4
Here is a little FAQ about Nominations Clarification posts for those of you who haven't run into them before, hidden under a details tag now:
What/why is a Nominations Clarification post?
Nomination clarifications are queries about tags we find confusing and updates about tags or the tagset in general. The goal of nominations is to create a tagset of unambiguous, easy to understand tags that will be useful to participants and solidly within the scope of the exchange. The goal of a clarifications post is to keep all of our participants up-to-date regarding our nominations work and solicit feedback where necessary to create the most useful tagset we can.
Do I need to read the whole post?
No. You can just skim each clarification post to see if a fandom you're interested in requesting or offering has been mentioned. We recommend doing this even if you don't care very much how the tagset is organized in case we make some kind of huge blunder with your favorite fandom or OTP.
How do I reply to a Nominations Clarification post? Do I need a Dreamwidth account?
You don't need a Dreamwidth account because we have anonymous commenting turned on. If you comment anonymously, remember to check back for our reply! You can also email us at ficinaboxmod@gmail.com if you'd prefer.
There's a query about a fandom I'm familiar with, but I'm not the nominator. Can I tell you what I think?
Yes! If you are not the nominator but have relevant fandom knowledge about something, please speak up. Nominators don't always reply to our queries, so answers from other people in the fandom are often very helpful.
Why haven't you processed my nomination(s) yet?
Nominations can't be processed in a strictly first-in, first-out manner because of various backend reasons, so most likely we just haven't yet had a chance because of the large volume of submitted nominations. Double check our nominations clarification posts for your tag. If sign ups open and one or more of your tags is mysteriously still missing, please reach out.
My AO3 tagset nomination(s) were rejected but aren't discussed below, why did you reject them?
Most likely you failed to disambiguate your nominations, or made some other error — we reject incorrect tags rather than fixing them. You're welcome to post a link to your nominations slate if you'd like us to tell you why the tag(s) were rejected. You can attempt to re-nominated tags either on AO3 or via the form if you'd like.
However, there is a delay between us rejecting and us posting nominations clarifications! Literally as I post this post, other people on the tagmod team are approving/rejecting new tags. So your rejected tag might show up in a future clarification post
I have a nominations question not answered here or on the Nomination Guidelines. Can I ask on this post?
Yes! You can ask nominations questions on whichever nominations clarification post has been most recently posted, or you can ask on the Nomination Guidelines, or you can use the mod contact post, or you can email us. We're happy to help no matter how you get in contact!

Google Forms nominations
- Crossover Fandom: Any Character (Naruto) in Konohagakure & Any Mountain Peak Lord (SVSSS) — Nominator, we're a little confused by this. Did you mean "Any Character From Konoha (Naruto) & Any Mountain Peak Lord (SVSSS)"? If so, we'd like to check that this will really suit what you want—"Any Character From Konoha" would include civilians and missing-nin, and "Any Mountain Peak Lord" is ambiguous enough that it might include people beyond the Cang Qiong Peak Lords. A more specific tag might look like "Any Konoha Ninja (Naruto) & Any Cang Qiong Peak Lord (SVSSS)"
- DCU (Comics): WB: A Day in Arkham Asylum from the Perspective of an Employee (DC Comics) — To phrase this as a worldbuilding topic instead of a prompt, we've accepted this as "WB: Daily Life Of Arkham Asylum Employees (DC Comics)" — if that doesn't meet the nominator's needs, please let us know and we'll replace it or put in an alternate tag for you.
- DCU (Comics): WB: Batman and Batman-adjacent (DC Comics) — Nominator, we can't figure out what this WB: tag means! Can you explain it for us?
- Dragonriders of Pern - Anne McCaffrey: WB: Seventh Path (Dragonriders of Pern) — Nominator, this was nominated twice in a row. Did you mean to nominate something else?
- Falsettos - Lapine/Finn: WB: Sitting Shiva for Whizzer (Falsettos) — Nominator, we can't figure out what this WB: tag means! Can you explain it for us? It seems like it might be a prompt rather than a worldbuilding topic.
- Kraven the Hunter (2024): Sergei Kravinoff/Tangerine (Bullet Train 2022) — This has been accepted as "Sergei Kravinoff (Kraven the Hunter)/Tangerine (Bullet Train 2022)" under "Crossover Fandom"
- Kraven the Hunter (2024): Sergei Kravinoff/Tangerine (Bullet Train 2022)/Tom Ryder (The Fall Guy 2024) — This has been accepted as "Sergei Kravinoff (Kraven the Hunter)/Tangerine (Bullet Train 2022)/Tom Ryder (The Fall Guy 2024)" under Crossover Fandom
- Monster Prom (Video Games): WB: Liam Prom (Monster Prom) —
Nominator, we can't figure out what this WB: tag means! Can you explain it for us?Accepting as-is, thank you to everyone who helped explain! - Original Work: Kind Male Rival/Previously Abused Man (OW) — Some of us were a little confused by this nomination. For clarity, we'd like to accept it as "Man Abused By Previous Partner/His Kind Male Rival (OW)"—unless you meant something else by this tag!
- Original Work: Kind Male Rival/Previously Abused Man & Man's Adopted Son (OW) — Some of us were a little confused by this nomination. For clarity, we'd like to accept it as "Man Abused By Previous Partner/His Kind Male Rival & Abused Man's Adopted Son (OW)"—unless you meant something else by this tag!
- Original Work: Male Rival/Injured Male Enemy He Rescues From An Abusive Situation (OW) — Some of us were a little confused by this nomination. For clarity, we'd like to accept it as "Injured Male Enemy In An Abusive Situation/His Male Rival Who Rescues Him (OW)"—unless you meant something else by this tag!
- Pocket Monsters | Pokemon (Main Video Game Series): WB: Life of a Grunt (Pokemon Game) — To phrase this as a worldbuilding topic instead of a prompt, we've accepted this as "WB: Daily Life Of Grunts (Pokemon Game)" — if that doesn't meet the nominator's needs, please let us know and we'll replace it or put in an alternate tag for you.
- Rats SMP Season 2: InTheLittleWood/Rendog (Rats SMP Season 2) — Nominator, is there a reason you need to specify the season for this SMP? We're pretty sure Ren was only in Season 2, so there shouldn't be any trouble there. If you were nominating this way because Empires is split up into seasons: we've done it that way this year because the worldbuilding and characters for both seasons are very different, and in previous years we've struggled with phrasing tags so that they only apply to one season or the other. We don't think Rats SMP has this problem, so we would prefer not to split it unless you have a compelling reason.
- The Villains' Code Series - Drew Hayes: WB: The AHC (Villains' Code - Hayes) — We couldn't find much information about this via google, but this seems to be a group. If it is, we think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- The Villains' Code Series - Drew Hayes: WB: The Guild (Villains' Code - Hayes) — We couldn't find much information about this via google, but this seems to be a group. If it is, we think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- きみのせかいに恋はない | Kimi no Sekai ni Koi wa Nai | Is Love the Answer? (Manga): All tags with "Ito", "Ito Mayuri", "Enomoto", and/or "Enomoto Mayuri" — We require characters to be submitted with their full names so as to avoid confusion. Are Ito and Ito Mayuri the same character? Are Enomoto and Enomoto Mayuri the same character? If yes to both, we will edit the submitted tags and then accept. If these are different characters, we would appreciate help figuring out how to disambiguate the ones without last names from the ones with last names to prevent confusion.
- きみのせかいに恋はない | Kimi no Sekai ni Koi wa Nai | Is Love the Answer? (Manga): WB: Relationship Negotiations (Kimi no Sekai) — WB: tags are required to be about a fictional aspect of the requested canon's world. Is there any reason to believe that relationship negotiations in this canon are substantially different from real life relationship negotiations? If not, we can't accept this tag.
- 不良執念清除師|Oh No! Here Comes Trouble (TV): Chen Chuying & Pu Yiyong (Oh No Here Comes Trouble) — This is a duplicate of another tag. Did the nominator mean to submit it as / or something else?
- 崩坏:星穹铁道 | Honkai: Star Rail (Video Game): WB: Heliobi (Honkai: Star Rail) — Nominator, we can't figure out what this WB: tag means! Can you explain it for us?
Ao3 tagset nominations
- Crossover Fandom: The Librarians: The Next Chapter (The Liibrarians: The Next Chapter TV 2025) & The Librarians (TV 2014) — We think this tag means you want any librarians from the 2014 show and any librarians from the 2025 show, but we're not totally sure. Oe maybe any character from either show? We're not quite sure but would definitely like to rephrase this tag. Maybe "Any Librarian (The Librarians: The Next Chapter) & Any Librarian (The Librarians 2014)" or "The Librarians Ensemble (The Librarians: The Next Chapter) & The Librarians Ensemble (The Librarians 2014)" or something similar?
- Fear Street Trilogy (Movies 2021): WB: Chatrooms Discussing The Curse (Fear Street) — Two nominators re-nominated this WB tag from last year. As you can see on your nominations pages, we've accepted it as "WB: Internet Discussions Of The Curse (Fear Street)" -- this is because this year we've decided we want to avoid WB nominations that might seem to opt a requester into a particular medium opt in. If for some reason this rephrasing doesn't capture what you want out of the tag, I'm open to rephrasing again or adding a different WB: tag of your choosing.
- Video Blogging RPF: Buddha & Sykkuno (VB RPF) — We found what we believe are Buddha's twich and youtube, but we can't confirm his age. We need either a credible source or a post from Buddha that says he's over 18, otherwise we can't accept this nomination.
- XCOM (Video Games) & Related Fandoms: WB: The Commander's Implant (XCOM 2012 Reboot Series) — This seems like it only applies to one character (which is against our worldbuilding guidelines, because that sort of thing is better as a prompt under a Solo: tag) but we also couldn't figure out what this means...so maybe we're wrong?
- 駄作 | Dasaku (Visual Novel): Haiki Yuuki/Nanagaki Alice/Nanagaki Chloe (Dasaku), Nanagaki Alice/Nanagaki Chloe (Dasaku) — Nanagaki Chloe appears to be a character that only shows up in the Dasaku ~Arisu to Kuroe, Musubareru Hi~ follow-up and not in Dasaku proper. Would you like to change the fandom to include both the original visual novel and the follow up? Otherwise, we can move this to Crossover Fandom.

- Citizen Sleeper (Video Games): WB: Sleepers (Citizen Sleeper) — We think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- Crossover Fandom: Gotham City (DCU Comics) & Natasha Romanov (MCU) — Per discussion on Nominations Clarification 3, we don't consider Gotham to be thinking/feeling enough to count as a character for FIAB. We would be willing to accept this as "Solo: Natasha Romanov (MCU) in Batman (Comics)", "Solo: Natasha Romanov (MCU) in Batman - All Media Types", as a similar tag with a more specific fandom, or as a crossover tag specifying a specific DCU character for Natasha to interact with.
- Crossover Fandom: The Magnus Archives in Gotham (DCU) — Nominator, this isn't a tag format we accept and we're confused about what you wanted. Are you looking for any character from The Magnus Archives to cross over into the DCU Batman Comics? The correct tag for that would be something like "Solo: The Magnus Archives Ensemble (TMA) in Batman (Comics)". Are you looking for a tag that would put a Magnus Archives team in Gotham? A tag for that might be "Solo: Original Statement Maker (TMA) in Batman (Comics)" Or was this maybe supposed to be a WB: tag? In that case, please elaborate on what kind of worldbuilding you wanted and we'll figure it out.
- Doctrine of Labyrinths - Sarah Monette: WB: The Cade-Skiffs of Melusine (DoL - Monette) — We think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- Dragonriders of Pern - Anne McCaffrey: WB: Dragons (Dragonriders of Pern) — We think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- Dragonriders of Pern - Anne McCaffrey: WB: Firelizards (Dragonriders of Pern) — We think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- Dream SMP: WB: Horror Setting (Dream SMP) — Nominator, this seems to be a prompt for an AU setting instead of a worldbuilding topic, so we can't accept it. If we're wrong, please let us know. You can also review our worldbuilding guidelines and request an alternate WB: tag.
- I Was a Teenage Exocolonist (Video Game): WB: Future Generations (Teenage Exocolonist) — We think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- I Was a Teenage Exocolonist (Video Game): WB: Previous Inhabitants of Vertumna (Teenage Exocolonist) — We think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- I Was a Teenage Exocolonist (Video Game): WB: Vertumna Group (Teenage Exocolonist) — We think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- IT (Movies - Muschietti): Bill Denbrough/Mike Hanlon/Ben Hanscom/Eddie Kaspbrak/Beverly Marsh/Richie Tozier/Stanley Uris (IT - Muschietti) — FIAB only allows 6 characters or less per relationship tag. Which of these seven characters would you like to remain in this ship tag?
- Original Work: Exhausted Man Signs Up For Cloning Scheme To Ease Workload/His Female Best Friend/His Clone(s) (OW) — We don't allow tags with "(s)". Any request for a group of characters can be filled with just one of those characters or with multiple. Do you want the singular or plural version of this tag?
- The Angel of the Crows - Katherine Addison: WB: Cerberuses (Angel of the Crows - Addison) — We think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- 休日のわるものさん | Kyuujitsu no Warumono-san | Mr. Villain's Day Off (Anime): WB: Evil Organization (Mr. Villain's Day Off Anime) — We think this is a little too close to a Solo: nomination and would like to ask the nominator what kind of worldbuilding they would specifically be interested in. We're happy to help you phrase one or several tags to cover your worldbuilding interests or, alternately, to accept this tag as a Solo: tag.
- 休日のわるものさん | Kyuujitsu no Warumono-san | Mr. Villain's Day Off (Anime): WB: Rangers (Mr.
- 崩坏:星穹铁道 | Honkai: Star Rail (Video Game): WB: Trailblazer's Past (pre-Express) (Honkai: Star Rail) — This seems to be a request for a character's backstory, or possibly a group's backstory, which isn't an allowed worldbuilding topic for FIAB. We can put in a Solo: tag for you, or you can let us know what kind of worldbuilding topic you're hoping for and we can work out a new WB: tag!
Ao3 tagset nominations
- Empires SMP: All tags — These were rejected because per our nomination guidelines, Empires SMP should be split into seasons 1 and 2.
- Newsflesh Series - Mira Grant: WB: Any (Newsflesh) — We're rejecting this tag because we will add all WB: Any tags to the tagset after nominations close.
- Real Person Fiction: Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Actor RPF)/Female Reader — "Real Person Fiction" is a little too broad of a fandom for us. We would also, if possible, like to avoid "Actor RPF". Is there a more specific RPF fandom, like for a show, that we could accept this tag under?
- Real Person Fiction: Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Actor RPF)/Fred Hechinger (Actor RPF) — "Real Person Fiction" is a little too broad of a fandom for us. We would also, if possible, like to avoid "Actor RPF". Is there a more specific RPF fandom, like for a show, that we could accept this tag under?
- Starian Cycle - Iris Foxglove: WB: Early Days of The House of Onyx (Starian Cycle) — Nominator, this seems like a backstory request for a group of characters, which isn't allowed per our guidelines. Can you elaborate on what kind of worldbuilding you're looking for?
- Starian Cycle - Iris Foxglove: WB: Final Days of The House of Clay (Starian Cycle) — Nominator, this seems like a backstory request for a group of characters, which isn't allowed per our guidelines. Can you elaborate on what kind of worldbuilding you're looking for?
- Video Blogging RPF: Sykkuno & Creator's Choice of Character (VB RPF) — Sorry, nominator, but like the previous KPop nomination we can't vet all possible "characters" in this RPF fandom as being 18+ and famous in their own right, so we can't accept this tag. We will update the nomination guidelines about this next year.

Date: 2025-08-14 10:39 pm (UTC)Basically, I'm looking for worldbuilding about what was going on in the House of Clay/House of Onyx during the time that the House of Clay was failing and/or during the time that the House of Onyx was newly opened.
If you haven't read it (or read it awhile ago and need a refresh), basically the canon is that in Staria there's a pleasure district with a bunch of different houses that are more or less themed brothels. It's clearly based on the pleasure houses from the Kushiel series, if that helps give context to the vibes, though there are some major differences that are irrelevant to this explanation. In the first book of the series, one of the main characters is the man who runs the House of Onyx, and it's mentioned in the book that the House of Onyx is new, having previously been the House of Clay until Laurent took it over.
(Quote from the book in question: "Laurent had earned his noble title by not only paying off his debt in the fabled House of Gold—the most exclusive of the pleasure houses—but by convincing King Emile to let him take over the near-defunct House of Clay and turn it into the House of Onyx, which catered to the stranger fetishes of the Starian nobility.")
While I think there is a background character who was working at the House of Clay and who did stay on at the House of Onyx after Laurent took it over (though I don't remember who or if I just made that up in my brain) we otherwise don't know any of the people who were involved with the House of Clay as it was failing, why it was failing, or anything about it other than the fact that it was failing (we don't even know what it's theme was). So, I'm looking for worldbuilding about the House of Clay specifically set during the time that it was failing, pretty much.
As far as the House of Onyx, we know Laurent took charge and about the possible background character mentioned above, but otherwise it's not clear in canon when exactly the other known characters involved in the House of Onyx came to work there, whether there were other characters who have come and gone before the canon first book, how the other pleasure houses reacted to a newcomer on the scene, how the House of Onyx figured out it's theme niche (which is basically 'is this some weird niche kink that doesn't fit well into any of the other houses? Sure, we probably have someone who does that! A sense of coherence and uniformity among our employees, like every other pleasure house? Why would we do that?'), how the finances of the failing house were turned around into a very, very successful house, or what any of the logistics of setting up a new pleasure house even were. So, like the above, I'm looking for worldbuilding about the House of Onyx set during the time it was just opening up.

Date: 2025-08-17 01:24 am (UTC)To explain a little further on my end, the reason we can't accept the tags as-is is because they're not asking for any specific worldbuilding that isn't covered under a Solo: tag for each house. We don't want you to be in a situation where you're excited to request worldbuilding for these Houses but then are disappointed when you get a gift that just involves some other canon characters visiting one of these Houses and doing kink stuff—which would count as worldbuilding for your tags as nominated as long as it takes place in the right timezone, but wouldn't be the worldbuilding you want.
How about something like:
WB: Political/Financial/Other Reasons For The Fall Of The House Of Clay (Starian Cycle)
WB: Logistics & Business Practices Of The House of Onyx (Starian Cycle)
WB: Politics & Business Relations Between Pleasure Houses (Starian Cycle)
(Please feel free to rephrase to fit your canon better, as I've actually never heard of it, although it sounds really fun!)

Date: 2025-08-14 10:39 pm (UTC)Not my nomination, but ATJ and FH are costars in "Kraven the Hunter (2024)", so presumably this could be sorted under "Kraven the Hunter RPF" as a narrower category.
(The film is also part of the SSU (Sony's Spider-Man Universe), so theoretically it could also be sorted as "SSU RPF" ... but I don't think anyone really uses that term, so I'd expect that to be more confusing.)

Date: 2025-08-14 11:16 pm (UTC)Not the nominator but aware of the canon and I 100% think this is more of a prompt than worldbuilding, as there is little worldbuilding to be done on how a Jewish family may follow mourning rituals. (Though, nominator, I'd be more than thrilled to have this as a prompt!)

It started out as a quick joke in a previous game but in the newest sequel Liam Prom has turned into a multimedia empire with a massive fanbase. There's a *lot* to worldbuild around here, from the content of the fanfic to its own recursive fandom to the writer's reaction to its explosion of popularity!

Date: 2025-08-15 04:43 am (UTC)Enomoto’s given name is Mayuri, so Enomoto Mayuri.
Ito doesn’t seem to have a first name anywhere in the manga.
(Also, while I’m at it, I found the one panel that has given names for two of the other characters—Nakagawa Yuzuki and Sawai Yuya if you want to update them too.)
Sorry about the confusion.
As for relationship negotiations… this is a thing from the manga which is a bit above and beyond what most people would do when beginning a relationship, but is certainly something that any couple could technically do. (Essentially, a couple fighting asks their ace friend to arbitrate, and it turns into an entire formal Thing as they figure out what constitutes cheating to this couple in particular.) I completely understand if this is too mundane to receive its own tag, though.
Thanks for your time and hard work on this tag set!

Date: 2025-08-17 02:24 am (UTC)休日のわるものさん | Kyuujitsu no Warumono-san | Mr. Villain's Day Off (Anime)
Date: 2025-08-15 05:00 am (UTC)The problem with this series is that many things don’t have a lot of names. Including the main character, who is called Shogun, but we never actually learn his true name. But essentially, there is so much worldbuilding to be had for both the evil organization and the rangers beyond the people, and I have no idea how better to word them.
The Evil Organization is literally called just that, and while we see bits and pieces of the Organization, there’s a lot to explore in how it’s… well… organized. (We’ve seen a sciencey department analyzing a robot cat, an infirmary, and the office setup of the main character, his rival, and some of their subordinates. Is this all there is to it? Is there more?) Shogun’s uniform for the battlefield involves another living creature. Is this standard, or something unique to Shogun? Also, they’re supposed to have come from a distant word, and it’s suggested that some people (and possibly some bodies?) on that world are in cryosleep. What is up with their home planet? And why have they chosen to target Earth in particular?
So yeah—going with a WB tag for that wasn’t so much “the people from this organization” as “WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH THEM?”
As for the rangers… it’s a similar story. They live in a HQ with a bunch of support people who we don’t really meet in any meaningful way. Also, this is not the first generation of rangers and I’m not entirely sure if we know how many there have been, but the ranger spirit is literally passed from one [host? Person? Heck if I know] to another, so once one red ranger dies, they’ll go searching for the person with the red spirit. (In green’s case, it was a set of twins who each got half of the green spirit in this current incarnation.)
So yeah; while I’d put down the names for the rangers for “I want to talk about them”—I’m really curious about the ranger system, the whole spirit thing, and just generally how they tick.
In short, I went with just those names because there is SO MUCH with both groups that make me go “can we explore this? The heck is up with them?” And finding better terms is… a little complicated given * gestures * all of that. Happy for any help if you’d like to go more granular or come up with better, though!

Doesn’t quite capture everything, but it at least covers most (and any prompt quite beyond those two could probably be filled in with WB: Any at any rate.)
Would those work for you?

Date: 2025-08-15 06:24 am (UTC)Male Rival/Previously Abused Man (OW)->"Man Abused By Previous Partner/His Kind Male Rival (OW)", this is okay, but I would prefer adding Male be added to previous partner. So )->"Man Abused By Previous Male Partner/His Kind Male Rival (OW)" The aim I was going for was any type of abuse, to keep it broad that it didn't have to be by a single partner, but could have, for example, been by his boss or parents, or coach etc, etc.
Kind Male Rival/Previously Abused Man & Man's Adopted Son (OW) —> "Man Abused By Previous Partner/His Kind Male Rival & Abused Man's Adopted Son (OW)" This one I would prefer the abuse element to be more vague, maybe it was by the man's allies, or his work boss, or his parents, etc, etc and to not include the "by previous partner"
Male Rival/Injured Male Enemy He Rescues From An Abusive Situation (OW) ->"Injured Male Enemy In An Abusive Situation/His Male Rival Who Rescues Him (OW)". Following up on the other commenter I think it would be clearer if both were rivals and I wanted the rival to rescue him from the situation specifically, so maybe "Injured Male Rival In An Abusive Situation/His Male Rival Who Rescues Him (OW)"? I felt like previously it was clearer that the rival had to be rescued from the situation, but in this scenario the male rival can be rescued from anything, and I'm not sure how to rephrase it for that.
For Monster Prom I suspect they want worldbuilding for one of the Liam Prom endings. You win the game by taking a specific monster to prom, and that's the ending. Though in theory all WB for monster prom endings should be the same, so I suspect they mean Liam's Prom King ending which is a special ending https://monster-prom.fandom.com/wiki/PROM_KING
