We've got just under 4 hours until nominations close! Get your last ones in! (But remember to disambiguate, because if you don't we're rejecting it now).


We have a couple clarifications at the bottom of this, but first:

Do you want signups to open early? Help us clean up the tagset!

The best way for you to do this is to go look at fandoms that you know and tell us if anything seems off!

• Do all the ships in there belong? If a character doesn't show up in that fandom/subfandom, let us know and we'll move it!
• Is you fandom part of a larger connected universe or a fandom with many adaptations? Check for wandering tags that are showing up in more than one place!
• Check for duplicates. We should have caught all the obvious ones, but if someone has a nickname or has a name that can be written multiple ways, it may still be in there!

If you notice anything else off (something missing a Solo: tag, something missing a disambiguation that isn't wandering) you can let us know about those too, but the three above are the most important!

Nomination Clarification

• Moses/Rameses II (Prince of Egypt) - You accidentally nominated this into "The Mummy Series"! We'll move this into The Prince of Egypt (1998) when noms close, but wanted to let you know that you may have accidentally some Mummy ships.

Medium Queries

• Stained Glass Sequence - Were you thinking that this should be more like comics (multiple smaller images on a page with 5 panels equaling 1k) or that they would be individual images (with 1 image at 1k)? I'm fine with either or with a combination.
• Commentary Track - I'm not sure how to count this one. It can't be by time or by the length of the original, since there's no way to know how much quiet for the original source there will be on your track. Did you have an idea of a good way to judge this one?
• Moodboard of Recipient's Fic (In Requested Fandom) - I'm trying to avoid photos as the center of any work (for several reasons). If you would like to submit *drawn* moodboards then that would be fine, but the nomination needs to be edited to be accepted.
• There were a few tags that I rejected because--while properly formatted with "Medium Opt-In"--they were plot types rather than medium.
• Tapestry - Same question as Stained Glass! Were you thinking to count this based on number of panels or just as one image?

Should we let you know about things that are showing up in "Uncategorized Fandoms" but should be under, for example, "TV Shows" (or whatever)?

No, unfortunately we can't do anything about that. All of the top level categories are controlled entirely by AO3, so until they categorize something that's where it goes. It shouldn't make a difference for signups though.

Lol @ my dumbass mixing up the Mummy and The Prince of Egypt! Clearly my brain just saw "Egypt" and defaulted...anyway, I've corrected that now, thank you for catching it!

For a duplicate, I noticed The Folk of the Air - Jude Duarte/Cardan Greenbriar is nominated twice, once with disambiguation, once without.
