Nomination clarifications are queries and updates about tags we find confusing. The goal of nominations is to create a tagset of unambiguous, easy to understand tags that will be useful to participants and solidly within the scope of the exchange.

Tags are separated by query vs rejection notice, form vs AO3 nomination, and then by fandom. You can respond anonymously to this post or logged in. If you are not the nominator but have relevant fandom knowledge about something, please speak up! If you have questions about nominations not covered in this post, please ask!

80 Days (Video game): WB: Automatons of the world and their differences (80 Days) — This tag is a little vague and, if automatons are sentient robots, maybe a little too close to a group nomination. Also, are you looking for smaller individual differences (for example, between automatons that are the same model, but are used for different functions in the same location) or for bigger differences (for example, between automatons produced in different cultures)?
Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter - Laurell K. Hamilton: WB: Fandom (Anita Blake) — We understand how your Online Dating and Celebrity Culture tags relate to Anita Blake, on account of vampires being public, but we're a little stumped about fandom as a worldbuilding topic for this canon and light googling hasn't cleared it up. Do some books in the series deal with a fanbase?
Bridgerton (TV): WB: Societal Changes Due to George III's Marriage to Charlotte (Bridgerton TV) — This appears to be about a real historical event, rather than something actually specific to the canon. Am I mistaken? If not, could we adjust this tag to clarify how you want it to relate to the events/characters/locations/etc of the canon?

Divinity: Original Sin (Video Games): WB: Godwoken (Divinity: Original Sin) — This seems to be a group of characters! We would like to accept this as Solo: Godwoken or help the nominator revise this tag so that it focuses on what kind of worldbuilding they want about the Godwoken.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: WB: What running a faction actually entails (Skyrim) — We love the concept of this WB tag, but want to make sure that what it's asking for is as clear as possible. We would like to accept as something like WB: Logistics Of Running A Fraction, or maybe something about the workload of fraction leaders?
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: WB: Whiterun City - what it's like when not limited by the game engine (Skyrim) — We think we know what you mean, but we'd rather WB tags ask for the worldbuilding they want directly. How would the nominator feel about "WB: Whiterun City As Described In Lore/Dialogue"?

Finally, about the tag itself: this is a little too vague! What specific worldbuilding are you hoping to see about the case, or cases? For example, are you interested in public opinion, or are you more interested in crime scene clean up, or something else?
