A gloriously beautifully written Daine/Numair Modern AU fic that explores Daine's abandonment issues when she discovers she's pregnant. Canonically, she's supposed to have taken this in stride; but given her backstory as a bastard, that's never made any sense. I really loved the way that my author went about worldbuilding here, as well as the really beautiful language!
Harry Potter
Pilgrim Soul
A Cho/Blaise romance which I really like for it's exploration of the post-war wizarding world, as well as Blaise's own issues. This is a fantastic Blaise character study--someone who might have believed in pureblood supremacy, but who never fought and largely escaped unscathed by any formal consequence, but the sense of who he was is still very strong. Again, really beautifully written!
Two Harry Potter Recs

The first AO3 work in this fandom! A character study looking back on how Elsie (a vampire) and Jimmy (a werewolf) grew into the monsters that they are, and their budding and growing relationship together. There's capers involving stealing blood from a blood bank. There's some non-graphic blood and murder, but about what you would expect from a vampire and a werewolf. There's romance and hurt/comfort and two people being very comfortable with each other, though they themselves are strange people in a strange world. Very good, very worth a read.
