Pinch Hit Pre-Offers

This is a screened post where you can let us know if you'd like a chance to pick up pinch hits before they're posted publicly. Posting here will not obligate you to pick up any pinch hits, it just gives you first dibs.

If someone who you have pre-offered for comes up as a pinch hit, we will contact you with the pinch hit information. We will wait at minimum 24 hours before offering it to someone else or posting the pinch hit. We'll try to give priority to participants who have defaulted or want to swap part of their assignment for a pinch hit.

Note that there is no guarantee that any of the people you offer to pick up as a pinch hit will actually go out for pinch hits! We'll only contact you if one of them does.

How to pre-offer for Pinch Hits

Post in reply to this post with the following information:

Your AO3 name.
The AO3 names of the recipients you'd potentially like to pick up all or part of a pinch hit for.
If you've defaulted on all or part of your original assignment or are hoping to swap all or part of your original assignment.
Contact Information (email, discord, or dreamwidth)(whichever you check most often!)

If you'd like to amend your information you can edit your post or re-post. If you re-post please let us know so that we can delete your earlier post. If you'd like to edit your post and cannot find it on the page (an issue we've had in the past with screened posts) you should be able to find it by going here https://www.dreamwidth.org/comments/recent and clicking over to Posted, but if not then let us know and we'll send you a link to it!
