Each book gets progressively darker, with Will Henry and Warthrop's bond becoming strained as Will Henry grows older. What do you love about it? The bond between Will Henry and Warthrop is the centerpiece of the story for me as a fucked-up codependent relationship, but there's also the excellent horror elements with a strong gothic vibe throughout the entire series. Content warnings: There's a fair amount of gore and murder. It also involves themes of PTSD and trauma throughout.
