Length: Medium (about 15 hours, consisting of six 2.5 hour long episodes)
Where can it be found? On the Dropout TV website: https://www.dropout.tv/ (requires a $5.99 USD monthly subscription)
What is it/what is it about? Have you ever wanted to see a charming world of Candyland and various other people with food items for heads get into deadly conspiracies? Watch a radish, a chili pepper, a mango, a ham sandwich, and string cheese get into politics way over their heads and then struggle and manipulate their way through .
What do you love about it? It's a lot of fun if you're into violence and conspiracies with a touch of whimsy. Despite all the characters being made out of food, it's all played very seriously, but they are still food, and personally I love the juxtaposition of serious and silly. And for the specific ship I'm requesting, Delissandro Katzon/Colin Provolone: the highs and lows of loyalty and divorce, characters who will do anything for each other until they reach the point where they can't, yet can't stop caring for each other.
Where should people start? If you are a completionist, this is technically a prequel to another (much longer) campaign they did on D20, Crown of Candy. However, while there are references to the other campaign, I do think The Ravening War can stand alone. It's set about 20 years earlier, and all player characters are completely new characters.
Do you have any content warnings? Violence/murder/death, mold, corrupt religious institutions. Matt Mercer is there? Maybe not a content warning but something to be aware of?
