I want to keep most of the gifset medium how you proposed it, but one change I'll need to make is to not include gifs that are only sharpened/color enhanced unless they're otherwise transformative (since I know that sometimes the transformative nature of gifs is less in the editing and more in the composition, e.g. storyboard type gifsets that tell an AU or are juxtapositions with images and quotes to hit emotional beats).
My thoughts is to have the two minimums/equivalents 1 - Giftsets comprised of gifs that have been only minimally edited (color/sharpening only, simple text, etc) that tell an AU, juxtapose images and quotes to hit emotional beats, juxtapose images to point out parallels, ect: minimum of 10 gifs 2 - The more obviously edited gifsets (text with timing or placement, gifs with transitions, collages, ect): minimum of 6 gifs
I'm not sure if what I mean is clear, so please let me know if it isn't and I'll try to reword! I want to make sure that I'll be able to tell with a quick check that they're edited or otherwise transformative without any familiarity with the canon or source medium, but I don't want to focus just on text as an indicator of that since there are a lot of obvious non-text-based ways to edit gifs. It think wording it in a way that's clear to any gifmakers will be really important with this one, since I'm drawing a line that might not be otherwise intutive.
