Additional words will be counted towards the 10k! If you wrote a 1200 word reddit post, that would count as 1200 towards your overall wordcount.

That also goes for other mediums that have a clear and logical scale. A fanvid that's 1m 12s would also count for 1200 since we're equating one minute to 1k written.
